Group Classes

   While dogs have been bred to live with us for many, many years now we can't discount the fact that they were once wild scavengers and still enjoy hobbies like getting into the trash, stealing food off of our counters, pulling us around on leash, jumping on us, and chasing after squirrels!

   Dogs don't come knowing how to be a good boy or girl, just like children, they need teachers to show them the way. In our Good Dog Level 1 class we start to teach your dog how to be the goodest boy or girl your family could wish for including:

• Sit and Stay when asked

• Settling when asked

• Coming back when called

• Walking nicely on leash and not pulling their owners like the huskies they saw on the Chirstmas movie on tv!

• Greeting people politely without jumping!

• Focusing on and responding to you around distractions

• Leaving stuff when told to do so even if it is the tastiest snack!

• Playing Fetch

• Tricks to prove to the neighbors that they really are the goodest boy or girl in town!

   Of Course this will require some effort from you too! Like any parent, showing your dog what is right and wrong consistently is the key to your dog graduating from the Good Dog class. While attending class every week is important practicing throughout the week will be equally as important. So, in this class we have squished lessons into 5-10 minute training sessions that you can practice at home Mon-Friday. Commit to just 5-10 minutes a day and marvel at the results!
