Sport Foundations

We love helping owners get started training their dogs for a sport that allows their dogs to express their genetic tendencies. Training for a sport can give dogs that have a hard time living a normal pet dog life without constantly getting into trouble appropriate outlets. It is also a great way to help build a wonderful relationship between owner and dog as they learn to work together as a team while having tons of fun!

We will have group classes available occasionally for specific sports. If you don't see a class listed fill out our contact form or give us a call and we'd be happy to chat with you about how we can help you and your pup get started in a fun new activity together!

Disc (frisbee)

Disc is a wonderful entry level sport that you can easily play at home on your own or even join a local club and compete. This is a great family friendly sport to learn with your dog! Dogs with lots of energy and that like to chase and bite things will love this game!

Scentwork

Scentwork is a sport EVERY dog would benefit from! From fearful dogs, young puppies, old dogs, aggressive or reactive dogs, to high energy dogs that need some help calming down.

We can help you get started in scentwork for competition in AKC, UKC, WSDA, and NACSW . Or we can help you get started on scentwork games that you can play at home with your dog.

Shed Hunting

Shed hunting is a great sport/activity for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors with their dogs. Shed hunting can be taught as a fun game to play with your dog, as a way to find "wild sheds" on your property or public lands, or to compete with your dog in UKC or NASHDA competitions!
